Delete your Hunger Valley account

This page explains how to delete your account and the data associated with it in the Hunger Valley app by Hunger Valley.

Delete it in the app

If you have the Hunger Valley app installed, this is the quickest way:

• Open the Hunger Valley app and sign in with your mobile number.
• Go to Profile.
• Tap Delete account at the bottom and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.

Ask us to delete it

You don't need the app installed. Send us a request and we will delete your account for you:

• Email mahar.kabir@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Hunger Valley account”, or call +91 88261 11941.
• Tell us the mobile number you signed up with. To protect your account, we may call or message that number to confirm the request is yours.

We delete the account within 7 working days of confirming the request and let you know when it's done.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, email address, mobile number and profile photo.
• Your saved delivery addresses.
• Your sign-in (mobile number and any linked Google account), so the account can no longer be used.
• The notification token for your phone.

What we keep, and why

• Order records — what was ordered, the amounts, the payment reference and the delivery details of each past order — are kept as long as needed for accounting, tax, refunds, dispute handling and other legal requirements. They are no longer linked to an active account.
• Reviews you wrote for a restaurant stay with that order's record.
• We do not use retained records for marketing.

Deleting only some data

You can edit or remove your name, email, photo and saved addresses in the app at any time without deleting the account. For anything else, write to mahar.kabir@gmail.com or call +91 88261 11941.

Restaurant and delivery partners

Partners who want their Hunger Valley Partner or Delivery account removed can send the same request to mahar.kabir@gmail.com from their registered mobile number. Payout and order records are kept as required for accounting and legal purposes.
